Reliance Jio is yet to have a commercial launch, but the preview offer has enticed people to do their best to get a Jio SIM. JioFi is a portable 4G MiFi router which costs Rs 2,899 and creates a 4G Wifi hotspot through which you can connect up to as many as 31 devices. The device takes up to 3 hours to be charged completely and can then run up to 6 hours. In addition to 3 months of unlimited data, JioFi owners are entitled to make unlimited HD voice & video calls by downloading JioJoin app. As per our sources, Reliance Digital and Dx Mini retailers have started receiving circulars asking them not to ask for any coupon code to issue the JioFi 2 device. But then, as a procedure, users might be required to provide the required ID proof and address proof and fill up the CAF (customer acquisition form) before availing the free Jio sim along with the 90-day preview offer. We still don’t have the official details about the JioFi data plans once the preview offer ends, but there are rumors that there will be at least two prepaid plans (prices unknown), the first offering 75GB of 4G data usage with validity of 90 days, and the second offering the same 75GB of 4G data with additional 4500 minutes of voice calls and 9000 sms valid for 90 days. Both the plans are expected to give access to various jio apps including Jio Chat, Jio Play, Jio On Demand, Jio beats, Jio Mags, Jio Xpress News, Jio Drive, Jio Join, Jio Money and Jio Security. Update: We just got hold of the JioFi 2 with free Jio SIM and preview offer!
